Prelude from the five pieces for two Violins and Piano by Russian composer Dmitri Shostakovich. These five pieces were arranged for two Violins and Piano by Lev Atovmyan, Shostakovich’s friend with the composer permission. The five pieces sound very different than the usual Shostakovich symphonies or string quartets we generally listen.
