BOGO Winners
Don't miss out on this valuable piece covering all aspects of BOGO Winners , with a special focus on bogo.
Nearly 900 birthing simulators will soon be on their way to 56 academic institutions in 13 African countries — strengthening simulation-based training for the next generation of doctors, nurses, and midwives.
Through Laerdal’s Buy One Gift One program, in partnership with the University of Global Health Equity, students will now have more opportunities for hands-on, simulation-based learning using MamaBirthie and MamaNatalie simulators and educational materials to help prepare them to manage the leading causes of maternal and newborn deaths.
This means:
More skilled healthcare providers
Better care for mothers and newborns
Progress toward ending preventable deaths
"Reducing maternal and neonatal mortality requires strengthening pre-service education through hands-on, simulation-based learning. Equipping African academic institutions with realistic simulators will enable future doctors, nurses, and midwives to practice life-saving skills and safely rehearse decision-making, teamwork, and technical skills, ensuring they are ready to deliver the care patients need and deserve."
— Ornella Masimbi, Head of Simulation, UGHE
