I cannot even believe I am about to go into my sixth year as a REALTOR!
It feels like yesterday that I had just spent months and months searching for a job during Covid. I felt so lost and hated being home and not working. I searched nonstop to try to find myself a new hotel job when nobody was traveling and naturally had NO luck.
FINALLY…I got to a third interview at a hotel in the city and they picked the other candidate. I was devastated.
It was in that moment that I decided that I was going to become a full-time real estate agent. I had already been taking classes to fill my time being at home and thought that I could do it on the side. Plan B became plan A.
And don’t you know the second that I committed to being a full-time agent, my old boss who I adored and admired, called me and told me that he had a sales job for me at another hotel in the city. I respectfully declined and told him I was going to become a full-time real estate agent. It was the scariest decision I’ve ever made, but I had to bet on myself and take control of my life.
And here we are five years, several awards and so many familes helped later and I can’t imagine what my life would be like today if I never took this leap of faith.
This career has opened so many doors for me not only as far as my professional life is concerned, but it has also given me the opportunity to have so many life experiences that I can confidently say I wouldn’t have been able to have without my real estate career.

Every single one of you who has ever liked or shared one of my posts, sent me a referral, put my name out there and chosen me to be your REALTOR… you will never begin to know how thankful I am for you.
