Entrepreneurship Motivation As a female owned first generation...
Looking for in-depth analysis on generation? Our post on Entrepreneurship Motivation As a female owned first generation... offers clarity and practical takeaways.
As a female owned first generation entrepreneur in the Deep South you will need grit and strategic planning skills and bootstrapping skills to survive in business during this difficult time of inflation. I have to keep in mind that no one is coming to save us. I got to figure this out one way or another.
Yesterday the Skedaddle van tore up on us. The office space increased by $450 a month. It’s like pulling teeth to get a reliable mechanic in rural Alabama. Either they booked to capacity or they just don’t know what they doing. I’m sure that’s a business strategy as well to create reoccurring clients to ensure you keep coming back so they have a job. I get it. Oldest game in the book.
Oh well. I cried. Prayed to God for peace. And then switched my 52 Week Savings Plan Challenge goal from a trip to new Skedaddle Van. It’s all good. Delayed Gratification is all good until you really have to do it. If I save to buy a van I can take on more clients to make more money to one day be able to book travel without a 52 week savings plan challenge. So it’s a means to an end. I just got to work the plan.
So I went to the end of the budget calendar and wrote myself a message when I make it to December 2024!
We will escape poverty one small strategic step at a time! See y’all at the top one day!
