Big Life Update!
After a lot of searching and a few hurdles, I'm absolutely ecstatic to share that my boyfriend and I are officially moving in together!
Finding a place that was both accessible for me and that we both loved, all while sticking to our budget, was definitely a journey (shout out to all my fellow disabled folks who know this struggle all too well! ). But we did it! We found the perfect spot, and the keys are ours!
This is a massive step towards greater independence for me, and I'm so excited to finally be building our own life together outside of my parents' house even though I'll miss them terribly.
( If you've successfully merged a dog and a cat, what's the one piece of advice you swear by for a stress-free first meeting? I'm all ears! ?)
