Two weeks ago we had the pleasure of performing a didactic concert at Parish of Alexandra Park, as part of their Lunchtime Concert Series organised by V&J and Vernica Chacn. The program guided the audience through the major eras of classical music, from the intricate textures of the Baroque and the clarity of the Classical period, to the expressive depth of the Romantic era and the innovations of the 20th century and beyond, all on Two Violins!
We performed original composition by Leclair, Haydn, Bartok, Bacewicz and Berio, and our arrangments of Tchaikovsky's Chanson Triste and Brahms' Hungarian Dance No.5.
