Choose the right show: This year shows start at 11am, 2 pm, 6pm and 7 pm depending on the day. Christmas eve and 12/29 we have 11 am and 4 pm showtimes. Plus our Sensory Friendly Nutcracker on 12/29 which has a relaxed atmosphere, great for first timers.
Seating: When going to the ballet with children, look for seats on or near an aisle.
Prepare: You can read the story of SF Ballet’s Nutcracker before the show. And listen to our Spotify playlist to get to know the music.
Plan the Commute: Budget extra time for traffic, parking, transit delays, inclement weather, etc. Arrive to early, grab a bite and enjoy our Opera House all dressed up!
