48 Years of Wildlife Conservation

Curious about the latest trends in years? Start with our overview of 48 Years of Wildlife Conservation .

We like to say that the elephants found us…
As we embark upon a new year, we reflect upon the 48 years of history that made us who we are today. Sheldrick Wildlife Trust is truly a labour of love, started a lifetime ago by people who had a shared vision for conservation and the courage to pursue it. Thanks to our incredible team and global supporters, the legacy continues.
The challenges facing our natural world are many and varied, but together, we are making a real and lasting impact. Every animal saved, every orphan raised, every landscape secured is a testament to fact.
Thank you for being part of our ongoing conservation story. To learn more about our field-level work saving Kenya’s elephants and protecting the habitats they call home, please visit: sheldrickwildlifetrust.org
