Come for a quick look around the new family member of the Grande series with me! This is the Grande 30M Slotting in very comfortably between the 32M and the 27M, this new 28.7m (94’) yacht model feels like something that is both fresh and evolved, while still carrying Azimut’s trademarks.
In my personal opinion….
The new fully walk-around flush deck is perfect. It takes the success of the semi walkaround deck from older models and takes it that step further, giving you a single-level area that combines both interior and exterior spaces. You can also add a Jacuzzi on the bow
The upper deck saloon also builds of the success of older models, reusing the successful solution of the sliding glass windows which tuck compactly into little pockets within the superstructure to become completely hidden away
The Veranda that extends the cockpit is a brilliant idea, it’s nice that it’s teak-covered so it really feels like a part of this space
There’s a focus on bringing light into the interiors, with features like the staircases in the saloon which lay transversely along the aft bulkhead and let light come in through the treads
Exterior design by Alberto Mancini is lovely, it feel a lot more sleek and grown-up (although I do miss the signature Azimut master suite window)
I like the new collaboration with M2Atelier, although I do miss certain elements of the Salvagni collaboration. But then again, the theme here is ‘barefoot luxury’ and I think they’ve nailed that.
As I mentioned in the video, it’s a 5-cabin layout, top speed of 25 knots powered by twin MTUs and the yacht is the first to have MTU’s new Rolls-Royce propulsion system to deliver a 15% increase in fuel efficiency
