"We are happy being here, Cluster TWEED, Wallonie Bruxelles International, together with John Cockerill, to push for innovation in green hydrogen production," he said on the sidelines of the World Power-to-X Summit 2025.
Balegamire stressed the significance of the SEHIM2 project partnership. "We have witnessed a signature between IRESEN, which is our partner as part of the same project with the engineering school of El Jadida, where the electrolyser will be put," he explained.
The John Cockerill-manufactured electrolyser represents collaboration between industry and research sectors in green hydrogen production.
The electrolyser will support both education and industrial development at ENSA El Jadida. "This will provide actually good insight to young people, young engineers who want to get into the industry, and will help to roll out at a bigger scale, of course, the activity of green energy production," Balegamire elaborated, emphasizing the project's role in training future hydrogen sector professionals.
