As the filmmaker of the new documentary film, "Heroines of Health", I had the honor of telling the story of three amazing women - Dr. Sharmila () from India, Mercy () from Kenya and Mrs. Rohani () from Indonesia - who have overcome incredible personal and cultural obstacles to become life saving forces in their communities. had the idea for making this film and provided the funding and logistical support but had never worked with a filmmaker before. The journey to my making this film will be documented on my Instagram account where I'll be posting clips of the film and giving behind the scenes director's commentary on shooting and editing decisions, interview techniques, emotional responses to some of the more challenging scenes and more.
